Ksar Ghilane
Ksar Ghilane, a mythical oasis nestled in the heart of the red dunes of Tunisian Sahara, is a true haven of peace. Known for its natural hot spring surrounded by majestic palm trees, it offers a unique setting where the desert is adorned with greenery. This timeless place is the ideal starting point to explore the dunes on camels or quad bikes, up to the Roman fort Tisavar which watches over the infinite horizon.
Chenini, perched on a rocky hill in southern Tunisia, is a fascinating cave Berber village. Its houses carved into the mountains, its fortified attics (ksour) and its iconic white mosque offer a breathtaking panorama of the surrounding mountains. This authentic site tells the story of the Berber tribes, their architectural ingenuity and their adaptation to desert conditions. A visit to Chenini is a journey back in time to the ancient traditions of southern Tunisia.
