Mikumi National Park
Mikumi National Park is a top spot to see four of the Big Five: elephants, lions, buffaloes, and leopards. Other wildlife includes zebras, giraffes, hippos, wildebeest, eland, impalas, and warthogs. Bird lovers will delight in spotting over 300 species, including hornbills, storks, bee-eaters, geese, herons, francolins, eagles, and vultures. Itinerary Highlights: * Early morning pick-up from your hotel for a chartered flight directly to Mikumi National Park (approximately 1 hour). *Upon arrival, meet and greet by our professional driver guides for a full day game drive. *A short break for lunch at one of the selected restaurants, then continue the game drive until late afternoon. *After the game drive, fly back to Zanzibar and transfer to your respective hotels. Commonly seen animals in Mikumi: Giraffe, hippo, buffalo, elephant, zebra. Occasionally seen animals: Spotted hyena, jackal, hartebeest, crocodile, lion. Rarely seen animals: Leopard, spotted hyena.
