You’ll have approximately one hour to explore the area around the rifugio. The Tre Cime are part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site and are beloved by climbers, photographers, and nature lovers from around the world. On your way back to Cortina we'll make a stop at the enchanting Lago di Misurina, where you’ll pause for another one-hour visit. Nestled at 1,754 meters above sea level, this alpine lake is framed by jagged peaks and reflects the surrounding mountains like a natural mirror. Known as the “Pearl of the Dolomites,” Lago di Misurina is peaceful, picturesque, and refreshingly uncrowded. Stroll along the lakeshore, grab a coffee at a lakeside café, or simply enjoy the serenity of this alpine treasure. The lake is also renowned for its microclimate and pure air, making it home to a historic center for respiratory health. But most of all, it’s a place of beauty and calm, a perfect contrast to the dramatic verticality of the Tre Cime.
