Classic Sacred Valley Tour is a famous valley in the middle of the Andes of Peru, 20 km = 12 miles at its closest north of the Inca capital of Cusco. In Sacred valley tours you get to visit Pisac Inca site, Ollantaytambo ruins and Chinchero colonial temple plus the Inca terraces.
Hidden under the tawny skirts of formidable foothills, the spectacular Río Urubamba Valley, known as «El Valle Sagrado (the Sacred Valley of the Incas)», is about 15km north of Cuzco as the condor flies, via a narrow road of hairpin turns. It’s worth exploring this peaceful, fetching corner of the Andes with attractive colonial towns and isolated weaving Inka towns. Star attractions are the markets and the lofty Inca citadels of Pisac, Ollantaytambo and Chinchero, but it’s also packed with other Inca sites. Its myriad hiking routes are deservedly gaining in popularity.
