— Seat Reservation —

  • BritRail Passes are valid for travel in non-reserved seats
  • Reservations are required for high-speed trains, scenic trains, and sleeper trains, and will incur additional fees
  • Travellers are recommended to pre-book seats during peak times, around national bank holidays, for long-haul routes, or on routes with infrequent departures. If you don’t have a reservation, please sit in seats that are not marked “RESERVED".

  • Enjoy unlimited travel on the entire National Rail network in England, Scotland, and Wales
  • London Airport Express Trains:
    - Heathrow Express: Connects Heathrow Airport to London Paddington Station (15-minute journey, departs every 15 minutes)
    - Gatwick Express: Connects Gatwick Airport to London Victoria Station (30-minute journey, departs every 15 minutes)
    - Stansted Express: Connects Stansted Airport and London Liverpool Street Station (42-minute journey, departs every 15–30 minutes)
    - Please note that using your pass to access the airport express trains will count as a day's use per ride on your pass

  • Your BritRail Pass provides unlimited rides on covered rail networks throughout the validity period
  • In case of flight or train delays, or a strike, please contact our customer service before your redemption date to reschedule or request a refund according to the applicable policies.
  • Lost and stolen passes or tickets will not be refunded or reissued
  • The pass must be redeemed within 11 months after purchase. If not activated within 11 months, the fare is non-refundable
  • Travellers must have a train pass and visa, including for countries the train passes through without disembarking
  • Only train passes that are not activated and completely unused are eligible for a refund. Refund requests must be processed within 11 months from the date of invoicing
  • When requesting a refund, a cancellation penalty (based on the refund rate shown on the pass or 15%) and processing fee of of NT$400 will be deducted. Please ensure you have all tickets, including the pass and reservation card, available for the supplier to handle the follow-up process
  • The supplier cannot be held responsible for any losses you may suffer due to strikes, shuttle delays, interruptions in connections, or theft or loss of luggage. In the event of an emergency as listed above, you can follow the rules for changing or refunding tickets

  • Please note that BritRail Passes are not valid on the following lines: Eurostar, Tyne and Wear Metro Trains (Newcastle-upon-Tyne area), Glasgow Underground trains, Manchester Metrolink, road links between airports and railway stations, Docklands Light Railway, tram links, privately owned railways, steam services, London Underground trains and buses, ships, hovercraft, or any other services not operated by National Rail
  • Redemption Period: 11 months after purchase. Please select your redemption date when booking
  • Validity Period: Depends on the chosen package
  • Travellers eligible for free admission will need to pay a registration service fee. Please provide identification for children to access the free transportation service. Additionally, when booking, remember to mention the number and age of children in your travelling group, along with the pass ordering number, in the 'Notes' section
  • Children aged 5-15 qualify for free admission when accompanied by an adult holding an activated adult rail pass. Each adult can bring 1 child free of charge. Children eligible for free tickets only need to pay commission fees. Please provide the number of children, their respective ages, and the booking reference number for the adult passes in the 'Notes' section when making the reservation
  • Free for children under 5 years old without occupying a seat
  • BritRail Passes are valid for travel in non-reserved seats
  • Reservations are required for high-speed trains, scenic trains, and sleeper trains, and will incur additional fees
  • Travellers are recommended to pre-book seats during peak times, around national bank holidays, for long-haul routes, or on routes with infrequent departures
  • The industrial action will severely disrupt some parts of the British rail network on specific dates. Please check the first and last train times on the website, as there will be limited service on the rail network. These dates are subject to change or cancellation. To avoid disappointment, please check before reserving your seats or tickets. Additionally, there may be holiday closures and planned engineering closures. We advise checking in advance on Network Rail as limited service will be running on the rail network.
