See the glassworks of Murano, explore the colorful Burano, discover the history of Torcello.Upon arrival at the first stop, Murano, discover why the island is renowned for its glassworks with a visit to a local glass factory. Watch a skilled craftsman during a demonstration of glass processing. Next, you’ll have about an hour on the island to shop at one of the many glass shops. Head to Burano, known for its lace and brightly colored houses. Follow the guide in the heart of the city and you will have 2 hours of free time to buy a good lunch, typical Venetian aperitifs or have an ice cream in one of the many bars. Venture to Torcello, the first center of civilization in the estuary. Spend an hour of free time where you can visit the Venetian-Byzantine mosaics.
