Our first stop will be at one of the hidden communities among all this modern development; although designated as a ‘slum’, the people here call it home for many years and thrive on local trading and working at one of the nearby factories. One of the highlights (closed on school and public holidays) will be a stop at the community kindergarten. Before we reach the local boat pier, we stop at a sweat shop to move into the green part of the city. After a quick refreshing drink, we board the awaiting long tail boat and cross the mighty Chao Phraya River and the Jungle of Bangkok will doom up upon us. This is the greenest area of Bangkok and elevated concrete paths will be our guidance through the lush vegetation, local stilted homes where the residents thrive from working on coconut palm plantations and the cultivation of bananas. En route, we stop for a small, typical Thai meal. Before we reach the boat ferry to head back to the other side of Bangkok, we make a stop at a very old, non-touristic Buddhist temple. But we unfortunately have to catch the boat to head back to the starting point. From the boat jetty to the office, we pass a Muay Thai training school. With its origins dating back more than hundreds of years, it is an additional added-value to an already wonderful experience. After 4 - 4.5 hours, we reach the starting point of our tour and our driver will bring you back in comfort to your hotel.

- Travel insurance coverage for customers (highly recommendable)
- Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
- Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
- The visit to the school may not be available during school hours or public holidays
- Joint / Seat-In-Coach tours require a minimum of 2 full paying adults before child discounts is applicable. Children who have not reached the age of 12 years upon operation of this are welcome to join private tour operation only.
- This tour is operated both on private basis as well as on joint / Seat-In-Coach basis.
- Joint tours are operated with an English-speaking guide only. Other languages for private tours are on request / subject to availability and supplementary charges may apply.
- Transfers are only operated within the downtown Bangkok areas and restricted to main hotels only. Regions outside the central business district such as Khao San Road, Rattanakosin, Nonthaburi, Thonburi, Minburi, both International Airports, Ratchadapisek and upper Sukhumvit (Soi 55 and further) are excluded and supplementary charges apply. We regret that are unable to provide pick-up and drop-off transfer services from and to apartment complexes, local guest houses or private apartments. We advise you kindly to head on your own arrangement to the nearest hotel inside the downtown Bangkok area.
- We will do all possible to comply with any dietary requirements during this excursion; it may not always be possible to confirm your wishes in advance based on the choice of local restaurant.
- Customers booking this this leisurely bicycle tour may expect some unequal terrain and/or some bike carrying along the way. A minimal degree of fitness may be needed to enjoy this excursion to the fullest.
- To respect local customs and respecting the religious sites and temples on this tour, it is customary for guests to take off their shoes before allowed entrance. Your guide will inform you in advance for which of these sites this is applicable.
- We always will make efforts to confirm the exact pick-up time upon reservation. For any operational issues in which are not able to confirm the exact pick-up time in advance, we reserve the right to inform you the day before the departure of the tour.
- Natural elements of any kind have a destructive effect on electronic equipment. It the customer’s own responsibility to ensure that any camera, mobile telephone or other device is properly wrapped and protected against these elements. We cannot be held responsible in any way for negligence and/or not following suggestions for any damage related to this.
- Please ensure that you bring sunglasses, a hat /cap and sunblock with a high SPF factor when traveling with us on this tour – even when it is cloudy, the sunrays still have an immense power.
- It is the responsibility of the customer to provide us with the correct hotel information, should pick-up and drop-off services be included in the package. Any changes in accommodation outside 24 hours will be handled accordingly: changes within 24 hours may be on request.
- It is highly recommended to provide the height of the customers to prepare the bicycles in advance. There are only limited children bikes available during this tour.

Our office hours are from 08:30 hrs until 18:00 hrs from Monday to Friday - Please contact Asian Trails at least 72 hours before your activity date to confirm your reservation and arrange transportation. Changes within 24 hours may be on request. - Pick-up times for excursions will be reconfirmed one day prior to commencement of your booked excursion. As an indication, the pick-up time from your accommodation is scheduled 30-60 minutes prior to the confirmed starting time. - Please be ready and waiting in your hotel lobby 15 minute prior to your scheduled pick up time. - Upon pickup, please present your confirmation/voucher or photo ID in exchange for your activity. - In the event of no-show or change of accommodation without prior consent and confirmation from us within 24 hours may result in the applicable cancellation charges as outlined in the terms and conditions.
