Itinerary

We pick up the guests at 6:00 PM from Chikpete metro station and start the tour with a 30-minute visit to Chikpete Market. Chikpete, one of Bangalore’s oldest and most vibrant markets, dates back over 400 years and is a bustling hub of activity. The market is famous for its rich history in trade, from textiles and jewelry to spices and traditional items. Walking through Chikpete is like stepping back in time, offering a glimpse into Bangalore's commercial heritage.

KR Market

KR Market, also known as Krishnarajendra Market, is one of Bangalore's oldest and most vibrant markets, dating back to the 1920s. Named after Maharaja Krishnarajendra Wodeyar, the market was built on the site of a former fort and battlefield. It’s famous for being one of the largest wholesale flower markets in Asia, offering a colorful array of flowers, spices, fresh produce, and traditional goods. The market is a bustling hub that reflects the city's rich history and culture, making it a fascinating spot for an evening stroll and a glimpse into Bangalore's past.

Bangalore Fort

After visiting KR Market, we will walk toward the metro station and see Bangalore Fort from the outside. The fort is closed by 5 PM, so we will view it from an external vantage point. Built by Kempegowda I in the 16th century and later fortified by Hyder Ali in the 18th century, the fort played a significant role in the region's military history. Its impressive structure and historical significance make it a fascinating landmark in Bangalore.
