At the appointed time we will meet at Central Station and from there we will begin our tour of the mysteries and legends of Amsterdam. Are you ready to discover what the Dutch capital hides?
Red Light District
We will first stop in front of the NH hotel, where we will tell you the story of the Decline of Chet Baker, a famous jazz musician who died at the Hotel Prins Hendrik, whose accommodation holds an unsolved mystery. There, we will also tell you about the secret of the Amsterdam orphanage. Then, we will continue along Zeedick Street to discover what “the curse of the white death” is and continue through Nieuwmarkt Square to hear the story of Amsterdam's house of horrors. Of course, we will tell you about the mysteries of Blood Street!
The Waag
Next, we will go to the Jewish quarter and tell you about the experience of the Black Death pandemic in this area, which suffered one of the worst plagues. There, you will also learn the story of Angela Engel and Anneken Hendrikss, the first and last women to be burned at the stake.
