At 8:00 AM, you will begin your walking tour of Amritsar by visiting the ancient Town Hall, which was constructed by the British in 1866 and is the hub of the city's local government.
After that, go on to Gurdwara Saragarahi, a moving monument honouring the twenty-one Sikh Battalion troops who valiantly protected their positions on September 12, 1897.
Proceed to investigate Qila Ahluwalia, a fort that was formerly possessed by the Ahluwalia Misl, a group whose leader Jassa Singh Ahluwalia was instrumental in thwarting foreign incursions in the 18th century.
