The Alhambra

The Alhambra is a palace and fortress complex, constructed in AD 889 on the remains of Roman fortifications, and then largely ignored until its ruins were renovated and rebuilt in the mid-13th century by the Nasrid emir Mohammed ben Al-Ahmar of the Emirate of Granada, who built its current palace and walls. Thanks to a professional guide, you will learn this and many more important facts about this complex. In addition, you will be able to visit the different buildings that comprise the Alhambra, while you learn in the most pleasant way!

It is a villa that dates from the beginning of the 14th century and was used as a summer Palace by the Nasrid rulers of the Emirate of Granada in Al-Andalus

The Palace of Carlos V is the former residence of the emperor, in Renaissance style, with a large interior patio.

Without all this data, the entry can be rejected
  • Access to the Nasrid Palaces is subject to availability. It is very demanded and cannot always be accessed by all the tourists visiting the Alhambra on the same day.
  • Not recommended for travelers with mobility problems
