Cooking class by local Chef in a small group not over 4 persons. Hi ! My name is "ARM" I am well trained from culinary school and a hotel in Chiangmai. As I grew up in Chiangmai, I'm really happy to show you a local market and how to choose Thai fruits such as mango, papaya, rambuton, mangosteen, lychee, longan etc. when it in season. Also introduce a herb garden for Thai kitchen such as lemongrass, Kaffir lime, sweet basil, holy basil ect. at my house.You will prepare all ingredients by yourself and have your own cooking station.I will help you in every steps and explain cooking dishes background.
Pickup included
Start from pick up you at a hotel around 3.00PM to 3.15PM in the afternoon then visit a local Thai fresh market which have vegetables mushroom fruits meat rice etc. At my house, you can also see some herbs garden such as Kaffir lime leaves, lemongrass, turmeric, pandan leaves. You will prepare all ingredients by yourself and have your own cooking station. I will help you in every steps and explain cooking dishes background. I teach in a small group not over 4 persons to make sure that everyone have a good cooking experience. We will cook authentic Thai food which recipe from culinary school I studied, hotel kitchen experiences and my mom who can cook wonderful Northern Thai foods. We will return to a hotel around 7.30PM.
Minced pork salad with herbs and Thai spicy sour sauce eat with vegetables
Khao Soi a famous Chiangmai curry soup with egg noodles or Green curry with eggplant and Thai basil
Famous sour Tom Yum soup or creamy Tom Kha coconut milk soup mushroom with lemongrass and kaffir lime leaf
Pad Thai with rice noodle sour from Tamarind sauce
Yellow sweet mango with coconut milk and sticky rice
