Kenai Fjord & Fishing 8 Hour Tour

Want the full Alaskan experience? This option is a blast! We take you on an 8 hour tour of Kenai Fjord National park with about an hour of the trip being some light tackle fishing! The tour takes your out into Resurrection Bay and ventures out into the Gulf of Alaska towards the Chiswell Islands and into Aialik Bay where we make a stop at Holgate Glacier. Along the way you can see wildlife such as Humpback and Orca Whales, Sea lions, Seals, otters, Porpoises, Goats, Bald Eagles, Puffins, and other aquatic birds! The fishing portion of this trip is fit for experienced or even first time fisherman, where we use light tackle fishing rod set ups and target rockfish or salmon depending on what time of the season we are in. The trip is more focused on the sightseeing aspect but also gives you a taste of some of the alaskan fishing experience. Rockfish limits are up to 3 per person and salmon are up to 6 per person depending on the area we fish in. The wild run of salmon typically show up in july and run through august. Our crew will fillet your catch for you and there are vacuum sealing and shipping options available in seward when we arrive back to port. You can also bring your catch to some local restaurants to have it cooked up for you! You will need to get an Alaskan sportfishing license prior to checking in for the trip, they can be purchased online at www.Alaska.gov
