Warsaw Barbican (Barbakan Warszawski)
The Barbican is a semicircular fortified outpost. The structure includes thick brick walls, towers, and a central gate, which was intended to protect the city from invaders.
Rynek Starego Miasta
The Old Town Market Place was established at the end of the 13th century and served as the central marketplace for Warsaw. The most prominent feature of the square is the bronze statue of the Warsaw Mermaid, the city's symbol.
