Waipara Springs, founding winery and restaurant of the Waipara Region, was established in 1989 and remains an entirely owned and operated Family Estate located in the heart of the Waipara Valley, approximately 60 kilometers north of Christchurch, New Zealand. It stands as one of the founding wineries in the region and is now managed by the third generation of the family. Torlesse Wines is another well-known winery in the Waipara Valley, New Zealand. It’s a family-owned vineyard that focuses on producing high-quality wines from the region’s unique terroir. The winery is particularly recognized for its premium Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, and Chardonnay. The cellar door at Torlesse Wines is a great spot to enjoy wine tastings, where you can try their diverse range of wines in a welcoming and relaxed environment.
