San Zaccaria

Book a 2,5-hour tour to visit the Church of San Zaccaria and the Basilica of Santa Maria della Salute and see other highlights of the Old Town of Venice. The tour begin at San Zaccaria, a small Gothic church filled with amazing artworks. Admire its decorated cailing, walls and a famous altarpiece by Bellini and hear stories about the Doges of Venice who are buried under the church.

  • It is advised to cover your shoulders and knees when visiting the churches in Venice.
  • The Church of San Zaccaria is open for visitors every day from 10 AM to 12 PM, and then from 4PM to 6PM. Tickets to the chapels and crypts can be purchased for an additional fee of 1.5 EUR.
  • The Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute is open for visitors every day from 9 AM to 12 PM and from 3 PM to 5:30 (summer hours), or from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and from 3 PM to 5:30 PM. Tickets to the Sacristy, Internal Balustrade (Balustrade of the Prophets) and External Balustrade (Dome) can be purchased for an extra fee of 6-10 EUR.
  • St. Mark's Campanile (Bell Tower) is open for visitors every day from 9:45 AM to 7 PM. Skip-the-line tickets include lift access to the viewing terrace. Tickets to St. Mark’s Basilica are not included in this tour
  • The Church of Santa Maria del Giglio is open for visitors Monday to Saturday from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM and from 2:30 PM to 5 PM. It is closed on Sundays, January 1, Easter, August 15 and Christmas Day.
  • The Church of the Pietà - Santa Maria della Visitazione is open for visitors every day from 11:11 AM to 5:30 PM.
  • The fastest way to reach Santa Maria della Salute is by vaporetto. Tickets are not included but can be purchased on spot to save time and shorten the walking distance.
  • 2,5-hour tour: for the comfort of all guests, it is best to have 1 licensed guide per maximum of 25 guests. If there are 26-50 people in your group, we will provide the service of 2 licensed guides so that all guests can get the best experience, ask questions and hear the guide well.
  • 3- and 4-hour tours: due to church rules, 1 licensed guide can show a group of 1-20 people, so the price will be higher if you need more than 1 guide. For 21-40 people we will provide service of 2 licensed guides.
