Itinerary

Valparaiso

We’ll meet at the meeting point in the port and head to Valparaíso, a coastal city known as Chile’s cultural capital. Upon arrival, we’ll begin with a view of the port and the colorful boats at Muelle Prat. We’ll continue to Plaza Sotomayor and then ride traditional funiculars up the hills for panoramic views, exploring Cerro Concepción and Cerro Alegre. Stroll through the vibrant streets filled with street art, colonial architecture, and local culture. Discover immigrant influences at Paseo Yugoslavo and Pasaje Bavestrello, and taste a local alfajor. Visit iconic sites like the colorful staircases with Calle 13's "Latinoamérica" lyrics, Pasaje Gálvez, and Paseo Atkinson, showcasing British heritage. See Restaurante Brighton, Pasaje Pastor Theodor Schmidt, the Lutheran Church, and Hotel Manoir Atkinson. Don’t miss the Piano Staircase and St. Paul’s Anglican Cathedral. We’ll end the tour with stunning views from Paseo Dimalow.

Vina del Mar

After Valparaíso, we’ll head to Viña del Mar, known for hosting the annual International Music Festival at Quinta Vergara. Enjoy a relaxing walk along the coast and beach, with opportunities for lunch and ocean views. We’ll visit iconic landmarks like the Flower Clock, Wulff Castle, Rioja Palace, Municipal Casino, Carrasco Palace, and Quinta Vergara Park, home of the Viña del Mar Music Festival. Explore beautiful house-museums, castles, and other points of interest. Don’t forget to follow the tradition of dipping your feet in the Pacific Ocean if you wish.
