Tegalalang Rice Terrace

Tegalalang Rice Terrace is one of Bali’s most iconic and photogenic landscapes, located just north of Ubud. Famous for its lush, green terraced rice fields carved into the hillside, this UNESCO-listed site offers breathtaking views of traditional Balinese agriculture in action. The rice terraces are part of the ancient subak irrigation system, which dates back to the 9th century and reflects the Balinese philosophy of harmony between humans, nature, and the spiritual.
