Blazing green trails into nature with a cornucopia of flora and fauna. Kinabalu Park is the mecca for nature lovers and those eager to wander through unique plants and flowers.
The journey is often part of the adventure and our two-hour scenic drive to Kinabalu Park passes villages and paddy fields along mountainous roads that wind along the Crocker Range.

Via the Crocker Range and a stop at the Nabalu Market, a regional market for witnessing local trading techniques of fruits, vegetables, handicraft and souvenirs, we enter the UNESCO protected domain of Kinabalu Park.
Reaching, literally, new heights on this journey, one immediately can notice the differences in temperature, the fresh, cooling air as you prepare following in the footsteps of your guide along the well-marked trails. Do expect a sensory overload of plant and flower species, along with numerous birds and butterflies that roam the treetops throughout your walk. This morning ends with a local lunch at a restaurant at the end of your walk.
Next, we transfer about 60 minutes to experience the Canopy Walkway which consists of two canopy bridges, 41 metres above ground and spanning a length of 157 metres and this location is reached by a 30-minute hike. Afterwards we transfer back to Kota Kinabalu (taking about three hours).

- Please contact Asian Trails at least 72 hours before your activity date to confirm your reservation and arrange transportation. Changes within 24 hours may be on request. - Pick-up times for excursions will be reconfirmed one day prior to commencement of your booked excursion. As an indication, the pick-up time from your accommodation is scheduled 30-60 minutes prior to the confirmed starting time. - Please be ready and waiting in your hotel lobby 15 minute prior to your scheduled pick up time. - Upon pickup, please present your confirmation/voucher or photo ID in exchange for your activity. - It is recommended to bring a rain coat, good walking shoes, light jacket, insect repellent and a water bottle with you. - For the hot springs, bring additionally a change of clothing (2 sets), towel, swim wear and slippers / waterproof sandals. - The hot spring is a public area and may see large crowds during weekends and public holidays. - Camera and video fees apply for the canopy walk (to be paid on spot). In the event of no-show or change of accommodation without prior consent and confirmation from us within 24 hours may result in the applicable cancellation charges as outlined in the terms and conditions.
