An English speaking interpreter will take you step by step through the history, etiquette and cultural importance of the Japanese tea ceremony, whilst you witness a demonstration from a local professional. Following the demonstration, you'll be invited to try making your own cup of 'matcha' tea - which you'll be able to savour along with a sweet local delicacy served at the side.

Hosted in a recently modernised, century-old Japanese town house & community space, this is a chance to witness and understand the history of the tea ceremony under the expert guidance of a local instructor dressed in traditional 'kimono'. A Japanese sweet snack will also be served to complement the tea. ※ Late Comers Policy We kindly ask all participants to arrive on time to ensure the best experience for everyone. If you arrive late without prior notice, up to 50% of your total activity fee may be charged as a cancellation fee, depending on the situation. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
