Discover Czech culture, traditions, and habits through your taste buds! Enjoy typical Czech foods, meals, and drinks served as part of a rich, interactive tasting menu — all accompanied by stories about their origins and the preparation of some traditional dishes. This experience combines food tasting, wine tasting, and hands-on cooking of three simple yet very traditional meals. It ends with a hearty Czech main dish prepared by us. Throughout, we’ll talk about the origins of the dishes, Czech customs, and how our cuisine has evolved over the past few hundred years. We’ll share the stories behind the food, the traditions of Czech cooking, and the cultural context that makes it so special. We see food as a powerful communication tool — a way to explore the world and create new friendships. We look forward to meeting new friends and sharing fun, food, and culture with you!
Eat, drink, cook, listen, learn — and have fun during this unique Czech food experience! Do you know what the most common food in Czech households has been — and why? Are you curious about what was grown and farmed here, and how it transformed into traditional dishes? We’ve prepared an interactive tasting menu and cooking class full of typical Czech foods, drinks, and ingredients. You’ll literally eat your way through Czech culture, traditions, habits, and history. You’ll taste snacks, dishes, and drinks, learn to cook some recipes, and discover what has been typical for our region — and how it shaped the people, economy, and overall culture. With good mood and good food, we’ll enjoy some quality time together. Depending on the season, we’ll cook three traditional Czech dishes — such as bread or bread dumplings with a spread, vegetable pancakes, and a cake or dessert. You’ll also enjoy a variety of cold starters, tasting snacks, and one main dish prepared by us. We’ll taste three Czech wines and a sample of Czech fruit brandy. This experience is always led by one or both of us — and we can't wait to welcome you!
