Southern Caribbean Food Tour with Lunch
On our Puerto Viejo Food Tour, let our guide show you some of the best food and most scenic locations on our coast. We have really great food here. Each one of these restaurants is in itself a destination, collectively the afternoon is a delight for the senses.
Indulge in tastings of authentic local cuisine as we work our way down the coast. During our time together, you can sample Argentinian chimichurri and ceviche; savor Caribbean classics like jerk chicken and Jamaican beef patties; and enjoy fresh local tropical fruits and smoothies just to name a few!
On this tour, you can expect a professional and engaging host, clean and comfortable transportation, a full meals worth of food across several locations, and a guide that is knowledgeable about the area, its history and legends, and can make recommendations. A bottle of water is provided at the beginning of the tour for each guest. We have small groups of no more than six that provide an individualized and personal experience.

Manzanillo
10:30 am: Pick up at our meet-up location, Dee-Lite Gelato Shop, in Puerto Viejo. Walk to our first location which is a quintessential Caribbean street food. 11:00 am: Arrive in Cocles Beach, sit under a palm tree as you enjoy a selection of tropical fruits from the local vendors on the beach 11:45 am: Arrive in Manzanillo at a third location for an Argentinean favorite and a smoothie
Punta Uva
12:30 pm: Enjoy a local Cevicheria in Punta Uva for the fourth tasting of the day 1:15 pm: Arrive back in Cocles Beach for the fifth tasting
Puerto Viejo de Talamanca
1:45 pm: Puerto Viejo for delicious jerk chicken and rice 2:15 pm: Arrive back at Dee-Lite Gelato Shop for dessert and drop off
