Lakeview Commons/El Dorado Beach is our launch point, and this location is very easy to park and access. It's centrally located in South Lake Tahoe, CA. It's also a fantastic launch point for some of the best views in Lake Tahoe. Just a 10 minute paddle from our beach, you'll access a wildlife preserve, secret beach, and the mouth of the Upper Truckee River. You'll also have sweeping views of some of Tahoe's tallest mountains.

Your three-hour Single Kayak rental will start at El Dorado Beach, which is centrally located in the heart of South Lake Tahoe. This beach is a great starting point for beginners and experts alike, since it has shallow water that is easy to launch in. Our beach is one of the easiest places to access the pristine shoreline of Secret Beach, a local wildlife preserve, and the mouth of the Upper Truckee River. You'll also have a clear view of some of the tallest peaks above Emerald Bay, Desolation Wilderness, and Cave Rock. Parking is free here and access is easy.

Our very stable single kayaks are the perfect choice for people of any experience level, beginner to expert.

  • El Dorado Beach (also known as "Lakeview Commons Beach") is located off of Lakeview Avenue. If you type in Lakeview Commons into maps, it'll lead you to a parking lot with restrooms. Either follow the boat ramp path (be careful of cars & trailers) OR go towards the beach & go down stairs to beach
