This is where we begin our itinerary of the day by pick up from your hotel/ accommodation at excactly 7:30 Am to catch up with ferry earlier.
The V&A water front is one of the most popular areas in Cape Town.The neighbourhood gives the stunning views of the ocean,as well as easy access to some of the city's best beaches.This is where you will take the ferry to Robben island,which is 11km from the main land, 40-45 mins ferry drive to the island.
Robben island is an Island on the Table bay.It's best known as the site of maximum security prison where Nelson Mandela and other political prisoners were incarcerated during apartheid.Mandela served 18 of his 27 years in prison sentence on the island and it has become synonymous with the struggle .It is now a World Heritage site and museum offering daily tours.You will disembark at Murray's Bay Harbour situated on the east coast of the island and take a short walk to the buses that will take you to all historical sites around the island .
