The Tuolumne Meadows Tour is a tour of the Tuolumne Meadows area while highlighting major points and visiting popular locations. In addition to providing you with natural and geological history, this hike will point out some of the lesser known ‘gems’ around the area. Hike on foot throughout this High Sierra Meadow while exploring places such as Lembert Dome, Dog Lake, Elizabeth Lake, and the famous Tuolumne River.
Looking for something different then what is on our regular schedule? Choose this customizable option for a full-day adventure in Tuolumne Meadows. Plan to meet the guide in the morning and discuss options, which can include sightseeing and/or hiking. If visiting Tuolumne Meadows we can do an easy hike to the top of Lembert Dome and visit Dog Lake at 9,170′ before returning to the meadows and enjoying a sip out of Soda Springs. If you should desire a longer/more strenuous hike, you can visit Gaylor Lakes or Cathedral Lakes. Guides carry first aid kits, water purification, toilet paper (for emergencies), sunscreen and bug repellent. Please plan to bring your own lunch, snacks, water bottles, etc. Note: Should weather, fire, and/or delayed seasonal openings affect the chosen itinerary, a different one will be offered. You will be kept in contact through this process. All profits from this guided trip go towards supporting our youth summer camp program.
You will make your own way to the meeting points
