The Chimborazo volcano is located 150 km south of Quito and at 6,263 meters above sea level it is the highest volcano in the Northern Andes. It is built on the Western Cordillera, being the highest volcano in the country.

On this tour you will be able to walk the volcanic rock trails from the Carrel Shelter (4850 m.) to the Whymper Shelter (5050 m), to admire the landscapes of the majestic highest volcano in Ecuador.
We take a short walk through the Cóndor Cocha lagoon (5100 m.) at an easy level accompanied by a professional guide.
You can choose to be picked up from a list of locations, or alternatively, have the choice to make your own way to the meeting points
Please arrive at the pick up point 5 minutes before departure time.
All travelers will be picked up at their respective lodgings within the city of Baños, otherwise the meeting point is the agency in front of the Plantas y Blancos Hostel.
