The excursion begins with a visit to the Minoan palace of Knossos, located on the outskirts of Heraklion (travel time from pickup approximately 30 min). Avdou
You can choose to visit one of the traditional villages: Avdou, Mochos, or Krasi. Any of them has it's own history and unique beauty. The second stop will be one of many traditional villages (40 min travel from Knossos). Discover the quaint charm of Avdou Traditional Village, where time seems to stand still amid its picturesque streets and timeless architecture. Immerse yourself in the authentic, rural charm of this quaint Cretan village and experience the island's traditional way of life like never before.
Kera Kardiotissa Monastery
The tour will also include a visit to the Kera Monastery (15 min travel from previous place), which is located in the Lassithi Plateau.
