Karnak and Luxor temples represent the largest open-air museum of ancient Egyptian monuments, offering visitors a unique opportunity to walk through the history and glory of Egypt.
The guided tour lasts approximately 4 hours and starts with a hotel pickup. We will then proceed to Karnak, a complex of temples constructed by different kings during the 2000-year Renaissance era of Egypt. Each king added a new part to the temple, resulting in the creation of impressive structures such as the Avenue of Sphinxes, the Hypostyle, the Obelisks, shrines, pylons, and many other additions. After visiting Karnak Temple, the tour will take you to Luxor Temple, which is dedicated to the Theben Triad of Amun-Ra, Mut, and Khonsu. You'll get to see the impressive granite statues of Ramses the Great there. These ancient temples are a must-see for travelers visiting Luxor, as the site of one of the most significant festivals of ancient Thebes, the "opet."
