Nakamise Shopping Street is a shopping street that stretches along the main approach to Sensoji Temple in Asakusa, Taito Ward, Tokyo, and is one of the oldest shopping streets in Japan.  [Characteristics] The stone-paved approach stretches for about 250 meters from Kaminarimon to Hozomon, and is lined with restaurants, souvenir shops, and other establishments. There are many stores selling Japanese sweets, crafts, folk crafts, toys, and more. There are many stores offering demonstrations and where you can eat freshly made food on the spot. It is also a popular tourist destination for foreign tourists.

Senso-ji Temple
