Early in the morning we will pick you up from your hotel to go to the north of the city, after a short trip we will enter the most important and best preserved archaeological complex in Ecuador. Our guide will report on the main aspects of the history of these ruins that are comparable (in shape and style of construction but not in size) with those found in Cusco. We will be able to observe the Inca trail, the site of worship to the Sun, and the face of the Inca, finally we will have a comforting lunch. On the way back to Cuenca, we will make a stop at the Biblián Church, a temple embedded in the top of a mountain, and finally our guide will drop you off at your hotel.
Pickup included
Early in the morning our guide will stop by your hotel to start this interesting tour. After almost 2 hours of road trip, in which we will be able to observe the Andean landscape, we will arrive at the Ingapirca Archaeological Complex Site Museum, which (with entrance included) we will enter to first visit the museum with a sample of pieces found in the area and then we will walk through the rest of the complex admiring the ruins that have remained of this civilization prior to the Spanish conquest. Our guide will talk to us and explain all the areas that make up the complex, we will reach the face of the Inca and we will have the opportunity to be in the ceremonial center built in the same style as the Inca ruins of Cusco. At the end we will have lunch (included)
We will visit the Sanctuary of the Santísima Virgen del Rocío and return to Cuenca
