This is a wonderful opportunity to see a different side of London. Some of the most famous sights of London are best seen from the South Bank of the River Thames. As well as having the opportunity to follow the Queen's Walk along the banks of the river you will be able to take some great pictures of these landmarks and hear all about life on the river and London's history as a port. The tour ends at Borough Market, London's premier foodie market where you will be able to try some delicious and unusual treats!
You start your tour near the Palace of Westminster and 'Big Ben'. Your guide will tell you about the British Parliament and Government before leading you across Westminster Bridge, where you will get a wonderful view of the Houses of Parliament.
From this view point outside the former Greater London Council offices you will get stunning views of Westminster Bridge and the Houses of Parliament from the South Bank of the River Thames.
As you walk along the South Bank of the River Thames along the Queen's Walk your guide will entertain you with stories of the River Thames and the fascinating buildings you will pass on both sides of the river. You will have plenty of opportunity to take pictures of some of London's famous landmarks.
