Paestum is known worldwide for its magnificent temples. But when you arrive in the ancient city, you are already fascinated by the city walls: almost 5 km of very well preserved walls that could be 7 meters high and which enclose the city core. There are 4 main access doors located along the cardinal axes: Porta Sirena, Porta Giustizia, Porta Marina and Porta Aurea.
