Bab Boujloud

Start your journey at the famous Bab Boujloud, a striking gate adorned with green and blue ceramics. From here, visit the Mellah, the historic Jewish quarter, and the 17th-century Ibn Danan synagogue. Continue to the King’s Palace, the Merindes Tops & Borj North & South, and a local ceramic factory to see the craftsmanship that defines Fez. After experiencing these highlights, you'll be returned to your hotel or riad.

Al-Attarine Madrasa

Built in 1325 by Abu Said Uthman II, the Al-Attarine Madrasa is located near a historic souk known for perfumes and spices. The madrasa once served as a prestigious religious school for top male students, many of whom continued their studies at Kairaouine University. As part of your walking tour, you’ll have the opportunity to relax in the serene beauty of this architectural gem. Admission fees of 20 DH per person are not included in the tour.

Kairaouine Mosque

Meet me at your hotel or riad to begin exploring the world’s largest walled city. As we walk through the bustling Medina, filled with vibrant spices, intricate carpets, and traditional Moroccan artistry, we’ll visit the Kairaouine Mosque, one of the oldest universities in the world, founded in 859 by Fatima el Fihri. Although non-Muslims are not permitted entry, you will have the chance to appreciate its historical significance from the outside.
