Private Evening in Furnas all included (Dinner, Beija, Gorreana)
This is the right way to do the favorite activity of the locals, in the right order exactly as the islanders do on their own holiday evenings, especially in Winter as this experience feels even better under gloomy weather.
After pick-up, we head to Furnas with a stop at "Gorreana" tea plantation, and "Pico do Ferro" viewpoint on our way. Once in Furnas, you get to walk amongst the "caldeiras" where the famous "cozido" is cooked under ground, by the breath of the volcano. While your dinner is being prepared relax and enjoy your time at the magical Poça D. Beija hot springs (entrance included).
After the bath you will be ready to enjoy dinner at a local restaurant, tasting the most famous island delicacy- the "cozido". Dinner after bath guarantees good digestion and sleep, while the other way around, like most tours do, will not be digestion friendly. Finish your evening enjoying the enchanting geysers under the night starry sky, before our drive back to your accommodation.

Plantacoes de Cha Gorreana
After your pick-up, and on our way to Furnas (that takes aprox. 35min.), we will pass along the tea plantation, where you can look at the lines of tea on the landscape and make a quick stop at the Gorreana Tea Factory if you would like to purchase some tea or take a picture.
Miradouro Pico Do Ferro
Before entering Furnas village, we do a pit stop at this viewpoint located high on the volcano mountain, so you can have a birds eye view over the Furnas valley and Furnas lake.
Lagoa das Furnas
Here we follow along the margin of Furnas lake to get to the "Caldeiras" - the holes where the famous "cozido" dish is cooked. Here you get to see your dinner being pulled out of the ground and learn all about the cooking process.

Additional Information
We pick up at any location on Ponta Delgada, Lagoa, Ribeira Grande, Vila Franca and Furnas areas. Other locations are subject to request, you might need to meet us at a meeting point, or pay an extra fee. Please inquiry. Please note we drive a 5 seat vehicles SUV type, we can take up to 4 participants per vehicle if it suits your group. Pick-up time: between 4-5PM
