Taourirt Kasbah
Start the day at the old kasbah of Ouarzazate named Taourirt where you will have some time to explore the narrow pedestrian streets with a local guide and visit the countless labyrinthine rooms of the palace.
Atlas Film Studio
Continue to the Atlas Corporation film studios, where you can discover the diverse sets and listen to the anecdotes of the multiple movies and actors. Several famous movies like Gladiator, Babel, Prince of Persia and most recently The Physician have been shot in those studios. You can have a look at a fortified city wall which has been used in the movie Gladiator starring Russel Crowe and enjoy a panoramic view over Ouarzazarte which goes on until the snow covered Atlas Mountains. Ait Ben Haddou
A little outside of Ouarzazate lies Aït Ben Haddou, the fortified clay city with its numerous ksars and kasbahs, where several famous movies such as Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven and Prince of Persia have been shot.
