Visit Essaouira on a day trip from Marrakech and escape from the bustling streets to the dreamy seaside town on the Atlantic coast that is also known as 'the Windy City'. On the way to Essaouira, you will have a unique opportunity to view goats in argan trees and visit a local argan cooperative to learn about how local Berber women make argan oil.
Once in Essaouira, you will be free to wander through the historic Medina which is a UNESCO world heritage site, the Jewish Quarter (the Mellah) is also full of history. There are 19 Spanish bronze cannons in the ramparts that should be viewed, along with the harbour's famous blue fishing boats. We recommend you have lunch at a food stall or a local restaurant and try the freshly caught fish.
If you'd like to tour the city with a local guide, then we can arrange one for you for an additional fee.
Before you leave Essaouira, your driver will stop by the beach and watch all of the water sports, such as kite surfing.

Essaouira Ramparts
Pick up from hotel-riad in Marrakech at 08:30, ready for a full day trip the beautiful Essaouira on the Atlantic Coast. Once you arrive at the port city, formerly known as Mogador, you will have time to enjoy the charming sights of Essaouira, including its ocher-colored walls, the beautiful Moulay El Hassan square, and the souks, as well as the little streets of the city's old Medina. Enjoy a lunch of fresh fish in a local restaurant. During your trip to Essaouira, with your driver, you will have a visit to the association of Berber women producing argan oil, see the local markets, and marvel at the gems in the jeweler's quarter. At the end of the trip, return to the ref city drop off hotel-Riad in Marrakech
