It was constructed by Arnoraja, the grandfather of Prithviraj Chauhan, between 1135-1150 AD and bears his name. The local community played a significant role in building its catchments. Covering an area of 13 km, this lake serves as a popular recreational spot for tourists and locals alike.
Pushkar Lake
Pushkar Lake is considered one of the most sacred lakes and the main attractions of this area. Hindu pilgrims flock this place due to this holy lake and now become a center for Hindu pilgrimage. This lake said to have consecrated to Lord Brahma, the creator of the universe when lotus dropped from his hand into the vale and lake emerged in this place.
