Learning from a local tour guide can be one of the most rewarding experiences of your holiday to England. With so many tours available with similar destinations and timings, it can be very difficult finding the best option.
With over 12 years experience in the industry, as well as a history degree, you can be sure that your guide will be fully entertaining and informative. We understand that it's not always the best way to add so many dates and times that all of this history can become blurry and difficult to understand.
Ironically, no matter how much a tour guide knows about a particular subject, one of the hardest things to do is to explain our past in a way that is both entertaining and memorable. Whether you are retired and have a lot knowledge about British history or you are a family with children, I guarantee you will leave this tour fascinated to learn more about this magnificent country.

We start the morning on the stunning Kent coastline where we'll pay our respects to 'The Few' that flew to save Britain from German invasion in the summer and autumn of 1940. Here you will get a glimpse of the iconic White Cliffs of Dover.
After a brief drive along the cliffs of Dover, we'll stop at Dover Caslte; 'The Key to England'. Here you'll have the opportunity to take a photo of this inpenetrable fortress, along with The Saxon Church and Roman Lighthouse in the distance.
As we arrive in Canterbury, your professional driver/guide will take you on a short walking tour from The West Gate to Canterbury Cathedral. Here you can see England's oldest and most important Cathedral where Christianity was reintroduced to the British over 1400 years ago!
