This food tour is like a history lesson through food. Join me, a Prague local, and other foodies from around the world and let me take you a journey from traditional to contemporary Czech food. We will visit 4-5 different pubs, restaurants, coffee shops and bars and I will explain why we Czechs eat what we eat. I will talk about my childhood growing up in Prague, how it was living under the communist rule and answer any of your questions. We will also talk about tourist traps, what not to do in Prague and I will give you tons of tips and recommendations not only for Prague, but your future travel destinations. Because we all know, how bad food can spoil your vacation.
We will start our food tour in old town where we will eat more traditional Czech food. In between all the eating and drinking we will walk to our next stop and I will talk about Czech history, architecture and my personal experiences living in the Czech Republic.
We will visit the Wenceslas Square and I will talk about our communist past and the democratic present of the Czech Republic. We will get into politics and religion, but only if you insist and after a couple of beers ;)
We will visit local and upcoming neighbourhoods like Karlin or Vinohrady and talk about present life in Prague and the Czech Republic. We'll discuss education, healthcare and maternity leave while having a drink and eating guilty pleasures.
You will make your own way to the meeting points
