This tour is a journey far back in time, almost surreal, between a city that ceased its existence in a matter of few hours and the mountain that caused its end. In the morning you will be visiting the ruins of Pompeii preserved almost intact for centuries. Stop to a local factory to learn more about the process of Cameos and Corals craft (if time permits). After lunch, visit at the crater of Vesuvius, a still active volcano, listed by Unesco as a “Biosphere World Reserve”.

Pompeii Archaeological Park
After the departure we'll reach the ancient town of Pompeii, buried by Vesuvius volcano eruption in 79 AD. Enjoy a visit of approx 2 hrs. At the exit visit of a cameos and coral factory (if time permits). Till 6 partecipants, the visit will be operated with audioguide, for parties larger than 6 persons a licensed guide will lead the visit. Entrance tickets are not included.

Lunch in a typical restaurant after the visit of the excavations.
Vesuvius National Park
After lunch continue to Vesuvius volcano. We'll reach by bus the height of 1,000 mtrs, then to reach the crater a 20 mins walk is needed. Entrance tickets are not included and must be pre-purchased.
