Nagoya offers many attractions for all ages, including Nagoya Castle, a must-see landmark, Tokugawa Garden, Tokugawa Art Museum, and Renza Bunko. Explore national treasures like swords from the Owari Tokugawa family and the Tale of Genji Picture Scroll, along with beautiful gardens.

  • Nagoya Castle
Visit Nagoya Castle, built by Tokugawa Ieyasu as a symbol of the city. Admire the castle tower with its golden shachihoko, the restored Honmaru Palace, and the seasonal gardens. Many buildings were destroyed during World War II, but the Honmaru Palace was restored and opened to the public in 2018. Get off at the "Nagoya Castle" stop
  • Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology
Visit the Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology, an interactive museum created by the Toyota Group. Located in a Taisho-era red brick factory, the museum showcases textile machinery and Toyota's first car. Enjoy engaging exhibits and demonstrations that are fun for the whole family. Get off at the Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology stop
  • Noritake Forest
Explore the lush park, featuring a craft center where you can watch ceramic-making and try painting, a museum displaying Old Noritake and design drawings, and a shop for shopping. Take a break at a cafe or restaurant using Noritake tableware between tours. Get off at the "Noritake no Mori Nishi" stop or the "Noritake no Mori" stop
  • Tokugawa Garden
Stroll through this beautiful garden, featuring a pond that resembles the sea and scenic waterfalls and rivers. Originally the residence of the Owari Tokugawa family, the garden still has the Kuromon gate, side tenement houses, and walls from the samurai era. The best times to see peonies are mid- to late April, irises in early to late June, and autumn leaves in late November. Get off at the Tokugawa Garden, Tokugawa Art Museum, and Yoza Bunko stop
  • Chubu Electric Power MIRAI TOWER
Built in 1954 as Japan’s first integrated radio tower, this landmark underwent its first full renovation and grand reopening in September 2020. It features observation decks at 90m and 100m, a cafe with views of Sakae, and a shop selling original products. The fourth and fifth floors house a hotel, and the nighttime illumination is a highlight. Get off at the Chubu Electric Power MIRAI TOWER stop
