【Osaka Kyoto Thousand Hikers Road】Kasunoji Temple, Atago Nenbutsuji Temple, Arashiyama Secret Realm Day Tour
Take a day trip that combines mystery, spirituality and nature. Start from Osaka, travel through the forest and time, and enter the most quiet corner of Japan.
The first stop is the "Kasunoji Temple" full of positive energy. The gate is solemn. Crossing the "Purification Bridge" seems to wash away worries. The whole mountain is covered with red winning Daruma tumblers, symbolizing the indomitable spirit. Everyone can write their wishes and draw their right eyes by hand to pray for victory and good luck! Climb up the steps along the shrine, you can hear the uninterrupted chanting for 365 days, and calm your mind in front of the main hall; don't forget to stamp all six corners to collect a unique Daruma postcard.
Then come to the "Atago Nenbutsuji Temple" hidden in the mountains of Kyoto, which is known as the real version of the secret place in "Spirited Away". There are more than 1,200 stone arhats with different personalities lying here. Some are smiling, some are angry, and some are wearing glasses to read books. They are full of personality and warm and healing. Each season has a different atmosphere. It is the most suitable place for healing the body and mind and taking photos.
The last free time is left to Arashiyama. It is recommended to go from Kano Nenbutsu Temple → Saga Torii → Mikado Shrine → Bamboo Forest Trail → Tenryuji Temple → Togetsukyo Bridge to experience a walking journey intertwined with nature and history: walk into the quiet stone Buddha group, feel the blend of faith and prayer in Kano Nenbutsu Temple; feel the time-traveling street scene of the ancient houses in Saga Torii; Mikado Shrine enshrines the god of hair and is a unique place for prayer; walk through the bamboo forest, listen to the sound of wind passing through the bamboo leaves, and finally take a picture of your own Kyoto four seasons landscape painting by the Togetsukyo Bridge.
A journey as beautiful as a movie, waiting for you to take a walk!
