Afternoon Tasting
You will know the history of the olive tree: from the Mediterranean to the hills of northern Italy. We will tell you about the different olive cultivars, their characteristics, why we marry them after harvesting to obtain a harmonious and elegant oil. You will learn the tasting technique with specific glasses in cobalt blue glass. You will learn how the "stripping" is done to amplify the aromatic components of the oil. You will understand why the highest quality extra virgin olive oil cannot be found on supermarket shelves.
