Travel back in time on the beaches of Normandy on this half day tour that takes you to major D-Day landing sites! Hop on the coach and listen to your guide, who will narrate the WWII history and D-Day — 6 June 1944. Visit your first stop, Omaha Beach, which is one of the five landing beaches and sadly famous for having been the bloodiest. Then go on a short drive to Pointe du Hoc site located between Utah and Omaha beaches. Learn how American rangers scaled this vertical cliff. Finish up the tour at the Normandy American Cemetery in Colleville-sur-Mer; walk around and pay your respects at the graves of the US soldiers who laid down their lives for peace. If you have a relative who fought in the war or are simply interested in 20th century history, then you'll find that this tour is a fascinating and moving experience!
