Starting the tour with the Grand Mosque The Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque is the largest mosque in Oman. The Royal Opera House in Muscat, Oman is one of the most state-of-the-art venues in the Middle East. The Souq is located in the historical area of Mutrah, which is known for its narrow lanes, alleyways, and traditional buildings. The Souq is known to be the place where local people come to get everyday supplies, shop, and socialize. Visitors can wander the labyrinth of alleys and buy items ranging from traditional Omani clothing and jewelry, spices, and souvenirs. The souq also contains some restaurants and cafes where visitors can rest and enjoy traditional Omani cuisine.
