Participants must be aged 10+ to participate in this activity
To visit Mount Ijen, a health certificate is required. You can get it in your country (make sure it’s valid during your trip) or do a medical check-up at a hotel in Bondowoso City the evening before the hike for IDR 35,000 per person.
Ijen Crater is closed every first Friday of the month for a local clean-up program called Ijen Rijik. If your visit falls on that day, we’ll adjust the itinerary so you can still visit Ijen on another day during the tour.
