An ancient quarry used for the basalt extraction until 1987, before the area was recognized as protected area.
A route located at an altitude of about 1,400 m on the SE slope of the volcano. This Etnean site because it is rich in naturalistic suggestions, both in the volcanological and botanical fields, not excluding fauna.
A panoramic point that overlooks the Valle del Bove, a deserted basin covered by recent lava flows (eruption of 1991-1993 and following) occupying an area of approximately 37 km².
