Although Meiji Shrine is located in the heart of Tokyo, the peaceful path leading to the main hall, surrounded by lush greenery and tall trees, makes you forget the noise of the city and offers a sense of calm and serenity. Along the way, you'll see a stunning display of sake barrels sent from all over Japan. These colorful barrels are beautifully arranged and make for a popular photo spot among visitors. When you reach the main hall, you’ll notice two large sacred trees tied together with a rope. It is said that Emperor Meiji and his wife shared a deep and loving bond, and these trees symbolize their harmonious relationship. Taking a photo or making a wish in front of these trees is believed to bring good fortune in love and strengthen relationships for couples and married partners. We will take a short break here before continuing the tour.
This is Harajuku! Takeshita Street is the ultimate hotspot for Tokyo’s vibrant youth culture — packed into just 350 meters of pure energy. With its colorful fashion, unique sweets, and quirky shops, walking down this street feels like stepping into an anime or movie scene. It’s a playful, sensory-packed experience that brings joy with every step.
Cat Street, stretching from Harajuku to Shibuya, is a stylish backstreet that offers a calm escape from the city’s main hustle and bustle. Tucked away from the crowds, it’s a hidden gem where creativity and modern Tokyo culture come together. Lined with curated boutiques, cozy cafes, unique vintage shops, and local favorites like Iyoshi Craft Cola, this area showcases the cutting edge of Tokyo’s lifestyle scene. It’s the perfect place to explore a different side of the city — one that’s relaxed, inspired, and full of fresh discoveries beyond the mainstream.
