Join our local Sami guide for a day visit to Nikkaluokta to learn more about the arctic nature, Sami culture and history of the area. See Kebnekaise, Sweden's highest mountain, and get the chance to see moose, reindeer and other wildlife. In summer we do a light hike, visit Nikkaluokta chapel and have lunch in the Sami-owned restaurant, in winter we visit the guide's home for a Sami activity and lunch.
Pickup included
Nikkaluokta is a small Sami village close to the highest mountain areas in Sweden. Here we will get a guided tour to learn about Sami people and the area.
When it is clear weather we will stop and see the highest mountain in Sweden, Kebnekaise
You can choose to be picked up from a list of locations, or alternatively, have the choice to make your own way to the meeting points
Please arrive at the pick up point 30 minutes before departure time.
We pick up from Icehotel at the meeting point 8.30 am. In front of Kiruna tourist office at 8.45 am. Camp Ripan, at the reception 9.00 am. Please be on location 5 minutes before departure, we are not waiting longer than 5 minutes for you. If you are late, please contact us.
