Experience the delights of the Loire Valley with a tour that takes you through some of the most beautiful sights and exquisite wines that France has to offer. Your first stop will be in the town of Bourgueil, where the surrounding vineyards produce some of the most exquisite wines in the region. You'll visit a traditional winery, learn about the wine-making process from grape to bottle, and have the chance to taste different wines. Don't forget to bring home your favorite bottle as a souvenir! Next up is the picturesque town of Chinon, with its preserved medieval half-timbered houses, Renaissance town houses, and castle, once the residence of Henry II of England. Your guide will walk you through the town's history. You will also have time to explore the town on your own, shop, and try some of the local specialties for lunch. After lunch, you will visit a winery run by a lovely French couple who will show you the wine-making process in Chinon. The highlight of your visit will be the beautiful view over the vineyards around you. Don't miss the opportunity to taste some of the red wines and bring some back home with you. As the day comes to a close, you'll be dropped off back at Tours, filled with memories of an unforgettable day in the Loire Valley.
